PICTURE REFLECTION

 I am surely running out of time and I have a couple of posters to touch up on tomorrow before the exhibition at school starts.  I have to complete my timeline.  Although i worked hard on my project i underestimated the amount of time I would need to invest on the presentation part. I decided to make a mindmap to reflect and collect all the knowledge and skills i have learnt through the project on a piece of paper.  ALL of the diagrams, posters, mindmaps and foamboards I have created will be hung up and displayed along with my 4 dresses and my blog at the exhibition.  I will hand up my posters on a wall or stick them to the tables along with all the other written work.  I will then put my computer in the center of my table with my blog open.  My dresses will be hung up on stands for people to look at.     

PROJECT AIM: TO PUT MY IDEAS INTO SKETCHES AND THEN DISCOVER AND LEARN THE PROCESS FROM A SIMPLE SKETCH TO A FINAL 3D PRODUCT.  I WILL ALSO RESEARCH HOW TO CREATE A COLLECTION.  I WANT TO LEARN WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME TO A DESIGNER AND WORK TOGETHER WITH A PROFESSIONAL TO LEARN.  MY NEXT GOAL IS TO LEARN HOW TO SEW.

COLLAGING IDEAS
I made 2 collages which I made with cutouts of things that I likes or inspired me from all kinds of magazines.  I then had a pink poster stating my aim and 2 foamboards.

I decided upon the collections colors at the beginning of the project when I bought the manga artist pens and my sketchbook.  I came to the conclusion that I would pick these colors through brainstorming what ideas and feeling I wanted my clothes to display.  I wanted this to be a very summery, light and romantic collection.  Therefore it reminded me of france and lavender, of skin tones, of red that corresponds to people lip tones and black, because it is such an elegant color.  I also included pale blue as it reminded me of air, the sky and the ocean.
